Elisabeth Edlbauer is fashion designer and a good friend of ours. The first five shots here we’re taken at Restoration House in Rochester, the very same building Charles Dickens based his book Great Expectation in. Sanders Chase runs a record store called The Record Collector in West Hollywood, LA. The store is a fantastic home of over 500.000 records; rows and shelves of classical, jazz and blues albums. What I find interesting in these portraits is that you can feel that time has stopped. Nothing has changed in the five years that was in between my two visits. The place feels like vinyl sounds. Music video for Tapes first album song Small Room. 6 months to plan 2 hours 30 minutes to shoot and 100 hours to edit. Tools uses: Final Cut Pro, Photoshop and Shake.
